Pepper: 12.5 tons
Pepper crop is on the upward trend with young vines coming into bearing.
Areca: 4 tons
Areca crop is on the upswing and new areas will come into bearing in the next 3 years.
Cocoa: 0.5 tons
~ The estate on one side has the Seetha River running along-side and water is taken for irrigation from the river. Besides this there is two old and one new tank which have water through-out the year for irrigation.
Replanting Details:
In the period 2010 to 2018 approximately 40 Acres of Arabica was replanted with new varieties of Coffee. Replanting of older areas is continuing and area replanted in the immediate past is detailed above and these areas will start bearing crop from 2024-25 and this process will continue in the years to come adding to the crop.
Replanting is planned for every year and this process of improvement is a continuous process which is continuing and the impact will be seen in the years to come.
Infilling Details:
Infilling is a process of replacing plants in the revenue fields and this is a continuous process to ensure that the yields of the different crops are maintained and improved. The results can be seen in the Pepper and Areca crop improving and this will continue in the near future with the crop increasing continuously year after year.
